This is me. An assortment of things from my life, my thoughts, my religion, school, and music.

I slept well before all my finals, except this one. Running on 4 hours of sleep, but I can’t sleep anymore no matter how hard I try…. Psych is so much more stressful than engineering. There’s just SO MUCH TO KNOW. Sigh, InshAllah it goes well today…

Final exam

Everyone is done exams. I was lucky enough to have the final possible slot for exams for my Psych 101 elective tomorrow at 7:30. Anyway, today was pretty good. Went for a nice swim, jummah, had lunch, and now it’s time to get crackin’. Let’s do thissss: 6 chapters, the final stretch.

Exam time…

Man, exam time is definitely the most relaxing time of the semester. It is also one of the most boring times of the semester because no one is really up to do things because of all the studying. And you can’t really force people to get in touch with their reckless abandoning self without feeling guilty. Anyway, I’ve been keeping busy these days with

  • Watching movies
  • Going to the gym to work out and for ball on non-exam days
  • Played squash yesterday
  • Random drives with Talha
  • Tumblin’
  • Youtubin’
  • Oh and studying

It’s not a fantastic time, but it’s pretty nice without having to wake up at 8 am every morning. Luckily, none of my exams are before 12:30 anyway. 1 more week of this, and then it’s back home for about two weeks :).

Also, ofcourse, I’ve been using any breaks I have from studying to dance in my room. What.

Taking such long breaks in between studying that it’s hard to make out what the break is: the studying, or the chilling…

Pre Med Syndrome: Life, the universe, and everything.

circadiandream:

I spent all day studying. Literally, all day. I sat in the library, surrounded by my study nest of snacks, textbooks, and caffeine ( 0 for 3 on roll up the rim, ugh!). I watched people come and go. I sat there. I powered through all the material for one of my midterms on Monday. I took a half…

I agree with you. I know far too many people that are completely engulfed in their own academic subject that they don’t give anything else an inkling of their time. I think it’s important to broaden your horizons, and learn about other things. Not really for the sake of some sort of reward in the form of marks, or admission to a medschool, but just purely out of interest and for the sake of appreciating the world we live in. The more you learn, the more you realize how little you know, I suppose.

Finally

Hell week finally came to an end this Saturday. 4 intense midterms. So tired. I’m just about to pass out as I write this.

Fun dinner last night in Toronto. And a good time on Saturday driving, talking, watching K2H2 and Benny’s Breakfast. Good way to relax after a tough week. Superawesometime with da fav.

Now back to the daily grind. Can’t wait to catch up with gymming, swimming, squash, and SLEEEEEEEEEP.

Also, Visa apps are done. Woo!
